How Selling Gold Works

1. Check your value

View our current buying prices or use the calculator. Do not know the carat or the weight? No problem. Post your items to us or pop into our Gold Factory shop and we will assess them.

2. Choose your route

Post the items to us, or bring them into the shop at 294 Farnham Road, Slough.

3. We receive and assess

We assess the items we actually receive. What we can pay depends on the metal, the purity and what else is in the piece.

4. Sell outright or take a Gold Loan

Both are calculated on the same figures, so you can compare them before you decide. You can change your mind and switch route without starting again.

5. Payment

Payment is made within 24 hours of Gold Factory receiving the jewellery. Jewellery received on a Saturday is paid on Monday.
