How a concept becomes a precise digital jewellery design.
Start with the Brief
A CAD model is only as good as the design brief behind it. We begin by understanding the style, metal, stones, finger or body size, overall dimensions, target weight and practical requirements.
Building the Digital Model
CAD allows the designer to control dimensions, symmetry, stone sizes, setting positions and component relationships before metal is manufactured. It is particularly useful for bespoke engagement rings, wedding rings, pendants and repeatable complex forms.
Renderings Are a Preview
A rendering helps you understand shape and proportion, but it is not the finished jewellery. Screen colour, reflections and scale can differ from the physical piece. Final metal weight can also vary within the agreed manufacturing tolerance.
Gold Factory Bespoke Approval
For Gold Factory bespoke commissions, CAD is prepared after the order is confirmed and a 50% deposit is paid. The customer reviews the design before manufacture proceeds.
Revisions should focus on the agreed design brief. Major changes after approval can alter price and lead time because they may require new design or manufacturing work.

Can I send a photo as inspiration?
Yes. We can discuss photos, sketches and ideas, subject to intellectual-property considerations.
Do I get CAD before paying a deposit?
No. CAD work begins after the order is confirmed and the required 50% deposit is paid.
Does CAD show the exact final gold colour?
It is a visual representation, not a perfect guarantee of screen-to-metal colour.
Can you alter CAD after I approve it?
Changes may still be possible before manufacture, but additional design work can affect price and time.
