Gold Bank Account
Build up gold a little at a time. Pay in weekly, fortnightly or monthly by Direct Debit, or in store by debit card or cash. Every payment buys 24ct gold at the live price on the day it clears, and your balance is held in grams, so it moves with the market rather than sitting still.
How it works
1. Choose how you pay. Set up a Direct Debit for a regular amount, or pay in when you visit us in Slough.
2. Your money buys gold. As soon as a payment clears we convert it at that day’s 24ct price. Pay in £100 when gold is £50 a gram and 2 g goes into your account.
3. Watch it build. Your account shows the grams you hold, what they are worth today, anything still clearing, and every movement since you opened it.
Spending your gold
On jewellery. Your grams are valued at the live price on the day you buy and that money comes off your order. If gold has risen since you paid in, you get the benefit.
On bullion. The weight itself comes out of your balance, so a 10 g bar takes 10 g. You pay the bullion premium, and postage and insurance only if you want it delivered. Collection from our Slough showroom has neither.
Bars and coins are available in 1 g, 5 g, 10 g, 1 tola, 20 g, 1 oz, 50 g, 100 g, 250 g, 500 g and 1 kg. If your balance does not reach the size you want, top it up and take it then.
Your record
Every payment, purchase and redemption is recorded with the date, the amount, the gold price used, the grams in or out and the balance either side. You can see the whole history in your account at any time.
Gold is only added once a payment has actually cleared. Anything still in transit shows separately so you always know where you stand.
