Wedding Bands for Women and Men
Gold Factory offers wedding rings for women and men, including plain bands, diamond-set designs, shaped rings, matching pairs and individual bespoke pieces. Your rings do not have to match each other unless you want them to.
A wedding band can be simple or highly personal. Width, thickness, profile, finish, metal colour, stone setting and engraving all change how the ring looks and feels.
Gold, Platinum and Other Metals
Our jewellery range includes 22ct, 21ct, 18ct, 14ct and 9ct gold as well as platinum and silver. For wedding rings, the ideal metal depends on design, budget, lifestyle and any engagement ring worn alongside it.
Different purities have different colour and wear characteristics. Higher-purity gold is softer than lower-carat alloys and can require more care, particularly in delicate designs.
Shaped Wedding Rings
An engagement ring with a low or unusual setting may not sit flush beside a straight wedding band. A shaped, curved or contoured band can be designed to follow the engagement ring more closely.
CAD is particularly useful for this. We can model the wedding band around the engagement ring’s profile and develop a design that looks intentional rather than leaving an awkward gap.
Matching Wedding Rings
Couples may choose matching metal, finish, width or engraving while still using different proportions to suit each hand. We can also create rings that share one design detail rather than looking identical.
For bespoke pairs, we can develop the designs together so the rings have a clear relationship while remaining comfortable for each wearer.
Diamond-Set Wedding Bands
Diamond-set wedding rings can use natural or laboratory-grown diamonds depending on the design and customer preference. Setting style affects appearance, security, future resizing and how the ring sits against other jewellery.
If you already have an engagement ring, bring it with you when choosing a diamond-set wedding band so we can assess fit and contact points.
Engraving and Personalisation
Names, initials, wedding dates, messages and other engraving can be added where the ring is suitable. We do not offer same-day engraving, so allow time for personalisation before the wedding.
Please check all spelling, dates and sizing before approving engraving or made-to-order work.
Bespoke Wedding Rings
If you cannot find the right profile or need a band to fit a particular engagement ring, we can design a bespoke wedding ring using CAD and our workshop-led manufacturing process.
Bespoke orders normally require a minimum 50% deposit after confirmation. Lead time depends on the design and manufacturing complexity, and made-to-order weight can vary by approximately ±5%.
Part Exchange
Old gold or eligible diamond jewellery can be assessed for part exchange towards wedding rings. This can be especially useful where family jewellery is no longer worn but you would like its value to contribute to your new rings.

Can I part exchange old gold towards wedding rings?

Can you resize wedding rings?
Many can be resized, but feasibility depends on design, metal, engraving and stone setting.
