Krugerrand Guide

The Krugerrand is South African and one of the most traded gold coins in the world. A one ounce Krugerrand contains a full ounce of pure gold, though the coin itself weighs more because it is alloyed with copper for hardness.

That copper gives the coin its warmer colour. It does not reduce the gold inside it.
