Children's Ring Size Guide

Measure the child's actual finger rather than choosing a size from age alone.

Do not use age as the size

Children of the same age can have very different finger sizes. Measure the exact finger on which the ring will be worn.

How to Measure

  1. Measure the exact finger on the exact hand where the ring will be worn.
  2. Use a narrow non-stretch strip of paper or a flexible measuring tape around the base of the finger.
  3. Keep the measurement snug without compressing the skin.
  4. Check that the measured size will also pass over the knuckle.
  5. Record the circumference in millimetres and repeat the measurement before ordering.

Recheck the Fit as the Child Grows

A child’s finger size can change over time. Check the fit regularly and remove the ring if it becomes tight, uncomfortable or difficult to remove.

Buying as a Gift

If an accurate measurement is not available, guessing from age is unreliable. Where possible, measure a ring that already fits the same finger or contact Gold Factory before ordering.

Alterations

Some rings can be resized, but not every design can be altered. Gold Factory can assess the individual ring where sizing work is required.
